How Inyah Was Born
Grief Transformed Into Purpose
Inyah was born from grief transformed into purpose. From a mother whose love was a sanctuary, a father whose wisdom was a compass, and siblings whose strength, kindness, and humility showed us what it means to truly show up for one another.
Their lives taught us that the most sacred thing we can do is feed the life within every human being — mind, body, and soul. To protect the essence of who they are. To nurture the God within them, especially in their darkest hours.
We learned that healing is not a luxury. It is a birthright. And so we built something in their honor — not just a charity, but a covenant. A promise that their love, their wisdom, and their strength would continue to move through the world long after they left it.
A Note From the Founder
Everything I Am, I Received From Them
Inyah is my thank you. It is the only word I have for something that goes far beyond words — the gratitude I carry for a family who gave me everything I needed to become who I am. A mother whose love taught me what it means to be held. A father whose wisdom taught me how to walk with integrity. Siblings whose strength and humility showed me what it looks like to truly show up for someone.
I did not earn what they gave me. I received it. And that is the most humbling thing I know — that the best parts of me were poured into me by people who loved me before I could love myself. I want them to know that I see it. I feel it. And I am grateful for every single piece of it.
So I built Inyah to pass it on. Because that is what you do with something sacred — you don't hold it, you give it. You let it move through you and into the world. You make sure that the love, the wisdom, and the strength that was given to you finds its way to someone who needs it just as much as you once did.
This foundation is not just a charity. It is a covenant. A living act of gratitude. A way of saying — to my family, and to the world — that what you gave me will never stop giving.
